AI Edge Copilot Beta Agreement

This is the agreement AI Edge shows when you first turn on AI Edge Copilot (version November 9, 2026). You accept it only if you choose to use Copilot. The Terms of Service that everyone accepts do not include it. References to Agree and Cancel below apply to that screen; this page is a read-only copy.

AI Edge Copilot Beta Agreement

Notice

Unless User enables a feature that requires it, User's script source code remains within User's browser and is not collected by AI Edge. AI Edge Copilot is such a feature. Copilot operates on third-party artificial-intelligence services and therefore cannot function without transmitting User's messages, scripts and other Content to those services. During the Beta, AI Edge also uses Content shared through Copilot for Product Improvement. AI Edge does not disclose User's scripts or strategies to other users. If User consents to the foregoing, User may accept this Agreement and enable Copilot; otherwise, Copilot shall remain disabled.

This AI Edge Copilot Beta Agreement (this "Agreement") is entered into by and between AI Edge LLC ("AI Edge") and the individual accepting this Agreement ("User"). This Agreement is presented to User solely by reason of User's election to enable AI Edge Copilot. Use of AI Edge Copilot is optional and is offered on a trial ("Beta") basis. If User does not accept this Agreement, AI Edge Copilot shall remain disabled and no provision hereof shall apply to User.

1. Summary of Principal Terms

AI Edge Copilot is an optional artificial-intelligence assistant offered on a Beta basis. Copilot operates on Third-Party AI Providers, so its use requires the transmission of User's messages, scripts and other Content to them. By enabling Copilot, User also consents to AI Edge's use of such Content for Product Improvement, subject to the limitations in Section 5. Output may be erroneous and does not constitute financial advice. Where authorized by User, Copilot may modify or delete materials within User's AI Edge account, and certain such modifications are irreversible. User may deactivate Copilot at any time.

2. Definitions

Capitalized terms used in this Agreement have the following meanings:

"Actions" means any operation Copilot performs within User's AI Edge account or through any Connected Service, including without limitation editing scripts in Studio; preparing or replacing study setups; starting, pausing, stopping, re-scoring or deleting studies; and using Connected Services.

"AI Edge Copilot" or "Copilot" means the artificial-intelligence assistant made available by AI Edge within Studio and the Optimizer, together with any updates or modifications thereto.

"Connected Service" means any third-party service that User connects to Copilot, including without limitation by means of a Model Context Protocol ("MCP") server.

"Content" means all information transmitted in connection with User's use of Copilot, including without limitation User's messages and attached images; scripts (including source code), libraries, chart data and strategy reports accessed by Copilot; study setups and results; and results from tools and web pages accessed by Copilot.

"Output" means any answers, explanations, code, study setups or other material generated by Copilot.

"Privacy Policy" means the AI Edge Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.

"Product Improvement" means developing, evaluating, testing, troubleshooting and improving Copilot and AI Edge's other products and services, including the artificial-intelligence models, prompts and tools on which they rely, which may include training or fine-tuning artificial-intelligence models.

"Skill" means any skill that User uploads to Copilot.

"Third-Party AI Providers" means the third-party providers of artificial-intelligence services that operate Copilot, as identified in the Privacy Policy.

3. Description of Copilot; Beta Designation

3.1 Copilot generates Output in response to User's requests.

3.2 Copilot is designated "Beta," which denotes an early, pre-release version of the service.

4. Transmission of Content to Third-Party AI Providers

4.1 Copilot operates on artificial-intelligence services provided by Third-Party AI Providers and cannot function without transmitting Content to them. Accordingly, User hereby expressly consents to AI Edge transmitting to Third-Party AI Providers such Content as is necessary for Copilot to respond to User.

4.2 AI Edge identifies User to Third-Party AI Providers only by a pseudonymous account identifier and does not provide them with User's name or email address, except to the extent User includes such information in Content.

4.3 The Privacy Policy identifies the Third-Party AI Providers and the categories of Content each receives.

4.4 User shall not submit passwords, API keys or the confidential information of any third party.

5. Use of Content by AI Edge

5.1 License. User hereby grants AI Edge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, transmit and process Content solely for the following purposes, subject to Section 5.2:

  • (a) to provide Copilot to User;
  • (b) to maintain such records as are necessary to operate and secure Copilot; and
  • (c) for Product Improvement.

5.2 Limitations. Notwithstanding Section 5.1, AI Edge shall not:

  • (a) sell Content;
  • (b) disclose, publish or otherwise make available User's scripts or strategies to any other user;
  • (c) use User's scripts or strategies to trade, or offer to others any script, indicator or strategy derived from them; or
  • (d) use Content for advertising.

5.3 Safeguards. AI Edge shall protect Content with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and shall limit access to Content used for Product Improvement to personnel who require it for that purpose.

5.4 Prospective Application. Section 5.1(c) applies only to Content shared through Copilot after User accepts this version of this Agreement.

5.5 Rights in Content. As between the parties, User retains all right, title and interest, if any, that User holds in and to User's scripts, data and messages. User shall be responsible for possessing all rights necessary to provide the same.

5.6 Order of Precedence. This Agreement governs Content shared through Copilot. To the extent any statement in the AI Edge Terms of Service or Privacy Policy conflicts with this Agreement as to such Content, this Agreement controls.

6. Output; No Reliance

6.1 Output is generated automatically. Notwithstanding any appearance of confidence, Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for User's purposes. Without limiting the foregoing:

  • (a) code may fail to compile or to perform as described; and
  • (b) interpretations of backtest or optimization results may be erroneous.

6.2 AI Edge does not review Output before it is presented to User. User shall review all Output before relying upon, using or disseminating the same.

7. Actions

7.1 Copilot may perform Actions within User's AI Edge account and through Connected Services. Copilot shall not perform Actions within User's TradingView account.

7.2 Actions performed within User's AI Edge account are performed with the permissions of such account.

7.3 Certain Actions modify or delete data and are irreversible. User shall review each Action before approving it.

7.4 User shall be responsible for all Actions, whether User approves each Action individually or elects a setting that permits Actions to be performed without prior approval.

8. Credits and Usage Limits

8.1 Each Action shall be charged against the credits and limits of User's AI Edge plan as though User had performed it directly, including without limitation credits consumed by cloud studies.

8.2 AI Edge may limit User's use of Copilot within any day or other period, and may terminate any response that exceeds such limits.

9. Skills and Connected Services

Skills and Connected Services may influence Output and shall receive such information as their respective requests require. Each Skill and Connected Service is governed by its own applicable terms and privacy policy, and AI Edge shall have no responsibility therefor.

10. No Financial Advice

Output does not constitute financial, investment or trading advice, nor a recommendation or solicitation to purchase or sell any financial instrument, notwithstanding that Output may discuss a particular instrument, strategy, setting or result. User remains solely responsible for all trading decisions and risk management.

11. Beta Status; Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

11.1 Copilot may contain errors and may be slow, interrupted or unavailable. AI Edge may, in its sole discretion and with or without notice, at any time:

  • (a) modify Copilot;
  • (b) restrict it to certain plans or accounts; or
  • (c) discontinue it.

Present access confers no right to future general availability or to Copilot's continued inclusion in User's plan.

11.2 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COPILOT AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11.3 TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AI EDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING OUT OF OR RESULTING FROM USER'S USE OF COPILOT OR ANY OUTPUT.

12. Acceptable Use; Suspension

User shall not use Copilot:

  • (a) in violation of any applicable law;
  • (b) to infringe the rights of any person;
  • (c) to circumvent plan limits, access controls or safety mechanisms; or
  • (d) to interfere with AI Edge's services.

AI Edge may suspend User's access to Copilot upon any breach of this Section 12.

13. Feedback

If User submits feedback or a bug report concerning Copilot, AI Edge may use the same for Product Improvement, without obligation or compensation to User and subject to Section 5.2. A bug report includes the conversation to which it pertains.

14. Deactivation

User may deactivate Copilot at any time via Settings > Experimental. Upon deactivation, Copilot shall cease accessing or transmitting any new Content. Deactivation shall not effect the deletion of:

  • (a) User's prior conversations; or
  • (b) the records AI Edge maintains of Copilot runs.

The Privacy Policy governs the storage of such conversations and records, and requests for their deletion.

15. Acceptance

BY CLICKING "AGREE," USER ENABLES AI EDGE COPILOT AND ACCEPTS THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING THE TRANSMISSION OF CONTENT TO THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS UNDER SECTION 4 AND AI EDGE'S USE OF CONTENT FOR PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT UNDER SECTION 5. BY CLICKING "CANCEL," USER DECLINES THIS AGREEMENT, AND COPILOT SHALL REMAIN DISABLED.
